Comparison
Tape-in vs weft extensions
Tape and weft are the two methods most requested by our clients. Neither is objectively better; they suit different hair densities, lifestyles and salon routines. Both are available as made-to-order hair extensions in Marbella and delivered anywhere in the EU.
Tape-in extensions
Tape-ins are thin panels bonded either side of a fine section of your own hair — a sandwich. They lie perfectly flat, install in under an hour and are moved up every 6–8 weeks as your hair grows.
- Best for fine to medium hair that needs an undetectable, flat attachment
- Invisible Tape: 150 g sets, 30 sandwiches, our thinnest panel
- Classic Tape-In: adhesive already applied, 50 g equals 10 sandwiches (20 pieces)
- Quick installs and quick removals, with no heat and no thread
Genius Weft
Genius Weft is a machine-finished weft so fine it can be cut to width without unravelling — no return, no bulky seam. It is attached with beads or a sewn method, depending on your stylist's preference.
- Best for medium to thick hair, or anyone wanting maximum volume per row
- Offered in 50 g bundles
- Cuttable to fit the exact width of each row
- Longer wear between maintenance appointments for many clients
Which should you choose?
Choose tape if you want the flattest possible result, fast installs and are comfortable with a salon visit every 6–8 weeks. Choose Genius Weft if your hair is denser, you want fewer attachment points, or your stylist prefers bead or sewn rows.
Whichever you choose, the hair itself is the same Luxury Remy quality — cuticle-aligned, heat-styleable and colour-treatable, prepared to order in our Super Double Drawn Premium A++ line.
Not sure which shade is yours?
Every set is customised and made to order, so colour must be confirmed before purchase. Order the physical Colour Ring, or book a fitting with our Marbella ambassador.
